摘要：Harmonic functions on manifolds play a central role in geometric analysis. During the last 50 years, there had been many significant discoveries, but more importantly, the techniques developed in these theories are extremely useful when applied to other problems in geometric analysis. We will describe some of the tools and techniques, in both Riemannian and Kahler setting.

报告人简介：刘钢，华东师范大学数学科学学院教授，研究方向为复几何与几何分析，在单值化猜想及其相关问题、Kähler流形的Gromov-Hausdorff极限、非负Ricci 曲率非紧三维流形的分类等问题上作出了重要贡献。入选国家高层次人才计划和首批“新基石研究员项目”，曾获霍英东教育基金会第18届高等院校青年科学奖、科学探索奖 、斯隆研究奖，并在2022年国际数学家大会做45分钟特邀报告。
